Now that's a card you don't make very often! Today is my good friend Alma's 101st birthday. She is an amazing woman whom I've been lucky enough to know for the past 12 years or so. She taught English for 49 years in our town and up until a few years ago was still very active in the community. In addition to being very smart, she also has a great sense of humor and we've shared many a laugh over the years. She is still living in the home she built with her husband in the 1940's and I'm heading over there this afternoon for her birthday party.
Roses are Alma's favorite flowers and pink is her favorite color so I thought this paper from Anna Griffin was perfect. I used stamps from Papertrey Ink (All Booked Up - appropriate for a former English teacher who loves books) and a Birthday dictionary definition stamp from Hero Arts.
This was taken two years ago when she came to Jack's school concert.
