Hello there... thanks for stopping by! When I saw Cath's Tuesday Trigger on Moxie Fab World, I instantly thought of this paper cake I created for Me & My BIG Ideas using some of their fun birthday themed products. Be sure to click on any of the photos for a close-up.
I found the styrofoam cake round at my favorite cake supply store and covered it with paper, ribbon, and die cut "frosting" complete with paper roses.
A bit hard to see, but Stickles glitter glue added just a touch of sparkle.
I twisted together Scrapper's Floss to create custom baker's twine to match the cake. (For a tutorial, check out my blog post on how to create your own inexpensive baker's twine). Then I added some of Mambi's birthday embellishments - including these fun banner shaped alphabet stickers.
What would a party be without favors? I created these with the help of my Silhouette.

Posting all this has reminded me that my "baby" turns 13 this weekend... I'd better start thinking about planning his party soon... what is that saying about the shoemaker's children? :)
