Guess the Olympics have given me the gymnastics bug or something... I'm back today with another gymnastics project I created - this one was for Me & My BIG Ideas. The corkboard and other products are available at AC Moore. This would make a fun home decor piece for a girl's room... and I'm guessing there will be lots of new students in gymnastics classes all over the country after watching all the success at this year's games.
I taped off the cork frame and painted it hot pink... then I sprayed it with Pink Glitter Dust which gives it the same effect you see in so many of the women's gymnastics uniforms... that beautiful shimmer that isn't quite as strong as pure glitter.
Instead of a photo, I added some of Mambi's sport paper and more gymnastics stickers.
I really liked the sparkle Mambi's glittered chipboard swirl stickers added... being a mom of all boys, it's fun to work on these girly projects from time to time.
I added a chipboard sticker to the top of a regular thumbtack to create this coordinating pin.
