What better way to enjoy a blizzard than by staying in and making something? We are still waiting on the official numbers from Blizzard Nemo, but I think my estimate of 22.5" of snow at the airport is going to fall short. We have at least that much at our house... about 2 feet with drifts of 4 - 5 feet. Before the storm started we all wrote down our best guess for how much snow we would get. I think my youngest son will win with his guess of 26".
Thought I would share a project from the past today... very simple card that uses inexpensive tags from the office supply store, a twig from the yard, and a few snowflake stamps (these are from Hero Arts). I added glitter to the twig using Diamond Glaze, but another strong liquid adhesive such as Glossy Accents would work as well.
I taught this card years ago as part of a class and I remember one of the students asking me where she could buy the twig?☺
