Have you ever watched a glassblower in action? I find something completely mesmerizing about watching glass artists at work and have collected a few pieces over the years. This week over on the Therm O Web blog we were challenged to work with Zips™, which work like hot glue (only without the heat and mess).
I thought it would be fun to try to recreate the look of handblown glass using inexpensive votives. The Zips™ even have teeny, tiny air bubbles which make them look even more like glass.
If you want a step-by-step tutorial for creating these, hop on over to the Therm O Web blog. What do you think? Not too bad for something that cost around $1 each to create. :)
