I hate to use the "s" word already, but I know that in many states kids are already back to hitting the books. Thankfully, we have a few weeks left here in Massachusetts.
These days it seems that fundraising goes hand in hand with back to school and bake sales are always a popular option for earning a little extra cash. This week the Crafts 'n things Weekly newsletter is packed with all kinds of back to school projects, including ideas for dressing up items on the bake sale table to help you get top dollar.
With so many themed paper products available it is easy to customize containers and tags to match.
Who says everything at a bake sale needs to be homemade? I think packaging up store bought treats can be okay too, especially if you are pressed for time.
However, if you do have a little bit of time, these Cake Batter Krispy Treat Cupcakes are a sure fire crowdpleaser. They are something I pinned to my "Food for Thought" Pinterest board and was just waiting for an excuse to try... they are as good as they look!
You can find a complete supply list and instructions in the Aug 14, 2013 issue of Crafts 'n things Weekly. It is FREE to sign up for the newsletter and you get access to each issue the week it comes out. To access back issues, you need to subscribe (but since they are all jam-packed with ideas, it's worth it!).
