Since today is our anniversary it seemed fitting to post a wedding card that I created recently for Karen Foster Design. Although it isn't our silver anniversary - one more year to go until we reach that milestone - this card features lots of silver accents.
I love adding lots of detail to cards and this one has a bunch - starting with the silver champagne flute brad.
The silver filigree heart is another brad. I really loved the detail on this paper (the black and white photo seems to show it off a bit better). The paper reminds me of something out of a Jane Austen novel, don't you think?
The black shimmer cardstock and rhinestone brads add even more sparkle. The sentiment is a sticker that was attached using foam adhesive.
I wonder what the traditional gift for a 24th anniversary might be? wood, metal, paper? maybe it's craft supplies? :)
Thanks so much for visiting today!
A belated Happy Anniversary! Oh yes the traditional gift for the 24th is crafting supplies. ;-)
I love this card. Gorgeous with all the details. I love that paper. Thanks for sharing!
