Hello and welcome - especially to any friends visiting today from the CardMaker blog.
If you would like to be entered in the Green Sneakers' giveaway to create your own Mega Kit by choosing any five Kreate-a-lopes and corresponding envelope liners, just leave a comment on this post by midnight EDT October 27, 2013. The winner will be chosen at random and posted here on October 28.
Here are a few of the templates offered:
and some of the envelope liner templates:
I have known Nick for over 10 years and am a big fan of his products. Over the years I have created dozens of samples for him and have a few to share with you here. Many of the cards are on the simple side in order to keep the focus on the envelope, and some of the papers are older, but hopefully you won't mind. Creating custom envelopes is a great way to use up your stash!
The envelope can also be used as the base of the card, like in this bridal shower invitation. Instead of adhering the sides of the envelope closed, it is held closed with ribbon. Using a corner rounder on the point of the flap is another way to change the look.
You can even use the smaller kreate-a-lopes to create pockets to put on the front or inside of a card. It's perfect for holding a gift card or money. A small envelope on the front of this card creates a pocket and the outer envelope is made from a coordinating vellum.
Once you start making these, it's hard to stop. Here is one more.
Thanks so much for visiting. Be sure to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing.
Have a wonderful day!
