Apparently we like donuts so much here in the US that today is one of two National Donut Days that are celebrated each year. The other is the first Friday in June. Have you noticed how trendy donuts have become lately? I think donuts are the new bacon.
Thought I would put together a few favorite donut finds to share with you today.
Did you decorate pumpkins for Halloween? Next year I'm making these. Instead of pumpkin donuts these are donut pumpkins.

Isn't this just darling? A donut pin cushion... doesn't look that hard to make either.

Looking for a unique gift for a donut lover in your life? How about these donut wall hooks?

I guess this is supposed to make cleaning more fun?!

Donut themed parties are all the rage right now. Wouldn't this beautiful donut banner make a perfect decoration?

And wouldn't this be a fun project for kids to make? or to help feed your Elf on a Shelf at Christmas? These are cheerios decorated to look like donuts. How clever!

I saved the best for last. Don't have any donut themed crafting supplies or stamps? That didn't stop the talented Lisa Spangler... she carved her own donut stamps and made this adorable set of notecards. I have to give this a try.

If you are looking for more donut inspiration, search on Pinterest... I found hundreds of ideas for all things donut... donut watches, donut clothing, donut jewelry, donut parties - even a donut toothbrush holder (wonder how dentists feel about that?) - not to mention dozens and dozens of delicious looking donuts to eat... but be forewarned, you'll probably be craving a donut afterward if you do.
Happy Donut Day!
