Gee, we just jump from one holiday to the next, don't we? Christmas is barely past and here it is already National Card Playing Day.
One of the things I look forward to each year is hanging out with my husband and kids in the days following Christmas and playing some of the new games Santa brought. As the kids have gotten older, the games have become longer and more involved and today we spent about 4 hours learning to play Settlers of Catan. The first time through took a while as the rule book was consulted frequently, but the second game went much faster and we are already looking forward to a rematch.
It seemed appropriate to share these projects today. The first is a game box that could be used to hold assorted small games and cards, or would make a great gift. Most of the products used are from the Las Vegas MambiKIT™ except for their new, large scale alphabet stickers.
To create the outline letter I cut a thin border around the "A" sticker - it didn't take very long and is a good way to get double the use from a single set of stickers.
The second project was also a sample for one of Mambi's trade show booths and could be used to decorate a game room... or maybe by a high-rolling bird.
Birdhouses now come in so many different shapes and sizes that there is something for everyone.
Love the detail on these stickers!
Plenty of bling on this one, that's for sure.
Hope you have a lucky day!
