Is there anyone in the Northern Hemisphere that isn't sick of winter by now? Although we had two back-to-back days in the 50's which practically felt like summer, it wasn't enough to get rid of the snow and I have a sneaking suspicion that Mother Nature isn't quite finished with us yet. However, here on my blog today is the last day of winter! This is the last winter themed project that I will post until sometime next fall - promise. :)
This is a quick layout created for Karen Foster Design using their latest Winter collection.
I know that I have used this photo before, but it is one of my favorite snowman pics and I can't help it. Even with all the snow we've had this year, none of my boys are interested in building a snowman... guess after all the shoveling they have had enough snow too.
I'm so grateful for the gift of photography and for the unique way it allows us to capture memories. If it wasn't for all of the photos we have, I'm not sure how many details - such as the fun my boys had building this giant snowman - would still be floating around in my brain? (of course, the snowman in this photo is not quite that giant... the boys were standing several yards back and just pretending to lean against him to give the illusion that he was a real giant).
One of my favorite things from this collection were the adorable stickers that coordinate with the papers. Love the little bird perched on the snowman's nose.
These would be cute on a card or tag as well.
Thanks so much for spending the winter with me... now I'm looking forward to much warmer weather and sunnier days... at least here on the blog.
Have a great day!
