Middle of March already? I'm looking out the window at a few remaining patches of snow and hope that this March does decide to leave like a lamb... so far we have seen too much lion!
Karen Foster Design recently released a new St. Patrick's Day collection and I was asked to create a card and layout for them. I was in such a rush that I didn't have time to photograph the projects before shipping them out, so I would like to thank Shavaughn from KFD for taking these photos.
Gotta have green beer on St. Patty's Day, right? Actually, this will be the first time in years that we won't have some kind of special celebration or treat in honor of St. Patrick... all my guys will be off doing other things. Hoping we can make up for it next year!
I don't believe in looking back with regret at decisions I've made... with the possible exception of kicking myself for not investing in a DSLR sooner! I would love to be able to go back and photograph my kid's childhoods with a better camera. These photos were taken years ago when I decided to make a calendar for the grandparents and staged monthly photos to match. Yes, this was back in the day when I felt like a layout wasn't finished unless I had used all the stickers on the sheet. Anyone else have early memories like that? :)
Karen Foster Design's Birthstone Brads make a perfect shamrock. I tried my hand at quilling to make the stem.
A lot of these embellishments would be great on a card or other project. Love my foam adhesive. :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and yours!
