another fab issue from Paper Crafts...just got my copies today and had fun looking over all the projects. This is one of those issues where you really want to read the instructions because you realize all the cool little techniques that are behind the finished project - just flipping quickly through the pages, you might think there are three of the same project, but once you look more closely you can spot the techniques that have been used to change them...kind of reminded me of those "spot the differences" puzzles that I used to love as a kid...here is a whole magazine full of ones for us!
I had fun working on some designer challenges for this - three of us were given the same set of products and asked to make something - how fun is that?! I was super excited to get to work with two of my favorite lines from CHA Winter...BasicGrey's Sugared Collection and K&Co's Blue Awning. Here is the project I made with BasicGrey.
I don't think I'll be posting too much over the next 10 days or so - trying to squeeze every last drop of fun out of summer that we can! We still have so many things on our summer to-do list - I'm so sad that it's almost over because I really love having the kids home.
Hope you are having lots of summer fun!
LOVE them!!!!!

I got my copies yesterday. Isn't that a fun cover? I love it! I am so honored to share the cover page with two very talented designers. (This is my first cover). Your boxes are beautiful.

Alice, you do know that you were the one who suggested using BasicGrey for this magazine?! I'm so glad I talked to you that day because the BG stuff turned out great!
I also wanted to let you know that I gave you an award on my blog today. Thanks for being such a great designer, and blogger! Also, don't feel pressure to pass this along. More than anoything, I just wanted to tell you how great I think you are! :)
