Today I am so excited to kick off all the festivities starting 16 days of sneak peeks and giveaways from one of my favorite manufacturers!
Karen Foster Design is coming out with lots of exciting products and fourteen brand new themes that will be released at the CHA 09 Winter Show in Anaheim, California…but you don’t need to attend the show to see them all, because starting today we will be showing sneak peeks at some of our Design Team member’s blogs as well as a daily contest where you can win that day’s brand new products! All you need to do to enter the contest is to leave a comment on the specified blog entry by the deadline indicated and the winner will be selected at random – please enter only once per theme and international entries are welcomed. For the next sixteen days be sure to check out the following links:
So now on to the fun part! Today's sneak peek is from the new Baby Girl product line. You can see the full line of papers, stickers and embellishments here. As a mom of three boys, I never pass up a chance to work with pink and this is one of the sweetest baby girl lines I have seen in ages - I hope you'll agree! Here are some of the projects I made using the new papers and embellishments: This is a card I made which uses some of their new brads and my favorite - Scrapper's Floss. I also love to use dimensional adhesive - I love the way it adds that special something extra to a project. Here is a little preview of an album I made...watch for more pages from this album in the coming weeks. This is a sign to hang on baby's door - the sheep paper has coordinating ribbon - love it! I layered the alphabet stickers - the top one I colored with ink using a cotton swab and layered it on top of the plain white one. I applied a rub-on to a plain white Big Time brad and used a cotton swab to apply Staz On inks - I've also used my Copics - so easy to create any color brad that you need! This is a gift bag - easy to keep a stash of plain bags on hand and add your own papers and embellishments. I love the new baby girl stacked stickers (I took these photos when the lighting was pretty bad and the little bunny's rhinestone eyes kind of have an eerie glow...I promise he is nothing but cute in real life :) And a 12x12 scrapbook layout that I made using the bits of paper I had left over after making everything else...this is a great way to use up scraps of paper and ribbon - I simply stuck them under a square of cardstock and stitched them down. You can click on any of the photos for a better look. A fun way to use the new Clearly Stickers is to attach them to the layout and layer a clear button over the top (tied with Scrapper's Floss, of course!) More specialty ribbon - can never have too much ribbon, right? and just a bit more dimension... Well, that's all from me for today :) For additonal ideas using the Baby Girl line, please visit Maryfrances Fabbri's blog, Tania Willis' blog, and Josée Rouleau's blog. Don't forget to leave a comment here to be entered into the contest to win your very own set of Baby Girl themed products from Karen Foster Design. Thanks for stopping by!
