Today I have a bunch of projects for all you sports fans out there. At CHA Summer Karen Foster Design will be coming out with new products in Soccer, Volleyball, and Rugby themes.
Even if you aren't a sports fan, be sure to leave a comment on this post (and yesterday's as well) to be entered in a drawing to win a wide variety of their new products (not just sports). You can enter once per day this week and I will be randomly choosing the winner on Saturday.
Soccer is a sport that I have honestly come to enjoy... if you knew me back when my oldest started playing, you would find that hard to believe... but hundreds of practices and games later, I can actually say that I really enjoy soccer. I don't think I fully appreciated the beauty of soccer until my kids started playing baseball...then you realize how nice it is to have a game that is limited to 60 minutes :)
This layout might be a bit difficult to see because I used a white background. I loved these two photos comparing Stephen in his first year to this past year (of my three boys he loves soccer the most). I used the new Bubble Brads in the circle punch outs.
This is one of the new Short Stack stickers - love the detail on these!
I also used these products to create a few paper crafts. This is a card for your favorite player -
You can see the Bubble Brad a little better here:
and a gift bag for a beloved soccer coach -
I used a Sports Ball and a Soccer License Plate on this one
This is a little chipboard tag to hang on a soccer bag - instead of a name, I used his number and covered it with some Glossy Accents.
and the other side
Now onto Volleyball (from here on out, it is all stock photos)
I stitched along the seams of the volleyball on the patterned paper with Scrapper's Floss.
It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but these mini brads have a little shimmer
I used the net paper to create two pockets that run the width of the layout. I placed the photos and journaling on tags.
these are the tags out of the pockets
I also made a card and tag - used the mini brads to embellish the card and a mini license plate on the tag.
and finally, Rugby.
I created a pennant banner along the side using Loopy Bradlines tied with Scrapper's Floss (this is a fun way to pull in the team colors)
I also used a Big Time Brad on either side of the title as a backdrop for a sticker.
On this layout I added a few Corner Brads
you can see them better here
and here
I also created a bookmark and dry brushed some paint over the stickers to tone down the white - it also seemed to fit with Rugby as it seems to be pretty messy - glad I don't have to clean those uniforms!
and my favorite Rugby project, isn't a rugby one at all, but something that would be perfect for Father's Day or dad's birthday.
I added a bit of foam tape under the collar to give a bit of dimension
Well that's it for today. Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing and check in tomorrow where I'll be sharing some projects I did with a few of the travel/destination themes.
Wow, those are some pretty terrific samples. Can't wait to see all the lines.

soccer mom and soccer wife! that's practically a part-time job...at least you probably don't have to drive your husband to his practices :) Right now we are in one of my favorite seasons - in between soccer, baseball, flag football, etc... no practices to get to, no uniforms to keep clean :)
Thanks for stopping by!
