Valentine's Day is one of my favorite card-making holidays as I have so many great memories of hours spent with my boys making handmade Valentines for their classmates. From the fun candy airplanes to stamping projects gone awry (I think there are still a few smudges on our dining room table... tip for stamping with kids - don't use permanent ink!) this was always the one time of year I could count on having the boys interested in doing a craft project with me.
Now that they are all teenagers it is almost impossible to get them involved in anything "artsy" unless it is for one of their school projects, so Valentine making falls to me. Today I have a couple of cards to share that were created for me & my BIG ideas using some of their brand new Love themed products.
I love the saying on this paper... after all what goes better than pancakes & syrup?
The gold and white metallic striped paper is another of my recent favorites - can't tell you how many times I've used it already. I especially like the way it looks with pink. It is a bit tricky to photograph though... here is a close up:
mambi makes so many detailed, dimensional stickers that are perfect for cards. They are just the thing when you want to make a homemade card but don't have a lot of time.
Thanks so much for visiting today. I hope you are having a wonderful week!
These are so happy and sweet, Alice! I like crafting for Valentines Day, too. Miss having young ones to craft with, thanks for sharing!

Hi Alice. It feels like forever since I dropped by your blog. Your cards are great and your photography AWESOME!!! Hope you have a great Valentine's Day. Thanks for your support and kind comment too. I SO appreciate them. Hugs to you.
p.s. loved your Christmas card. Was hoping to send out Valentine's but not sure now. If I make it, you're definitely at the top of my list!

I miss those days of crafting with my son also. Was hoping that I could make valentine's with my grandchildren but alas the roads have been too treacherous and I'm a chicken when it comes to driving in snow and ice.
The gold and white paper is to die for. I really like it and it is so versatile. It is perfect with your blingy card.
Hope you are staying warm!
